As previously announced, Ralph Macchio (The Karate Kid) plays Carl Morelli, a writer reminiscing about his adolescence in the cramped apartment that he shared with his family. Mario Cantone (Steve) plays his flamboyant Uncle Jackie.

NahNotOutsideMyHouse! Productions Inc. presents a reading of Charles Messina’s new play “An Honest Woman.” Joining the stellar cast in this one night only reading is former Sopranos star Jason Cerbone, who played the role of Jackie April Jr. on the hit HBO Series.
Messina’s newly revised play tells the tale of the Caponetti family and what happens when the head of the house (Cerbone) is incarcerated.

The Sunday Series at Abingdon will present 3 From The Neighborhood (click for tickets), a one night only workshop performance of three new one act plays by New York-based playwright Charles Messina.
The evening will include three plays making their New York Premiere. Each one is centered on people living in Greenwich Village, the place where author Messina was born and raised. In THE NEIGHBORHOOD, Messina tells the true story of the events behind the Washington Square Park Riot of 1976. DEWEY, PHUKUM & HOWE tells the tale of three workers stuck in a dead end, debt collecting job and their wanderlust for another life. THE WRECK is the story of a neurotic man trying to cope with his hypochondria and the recent break up with his girlfriend.
